Terms of Service

These Terms govern your purchase and use of the Reviso for Bricks plugin (“Plugin”) and the getreviso.io website (“Site”), provided by Reviso (“Reviso”, “we”, “us”), 182 Vivian Street, Wellington, New Zealand. By purchasing or using the Plugin you agree to these Terms.

1. The software license

The Plugin’s PHP code is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPLv2+), consistent with WordPress. Your purchase / license key does not restrict the GPL freedoms in the code; instead it grants you, for the term and tier you bought:

  • access to plugin updates;
  • access to support;
  • the right to activate the Plugin on up to the number of sites included in your plan.

Bundled third-party assets, fonts, images, and trademarks may be under separate licenses and are not covered by the GPL grant.

2. Plans, sites & activations

Each plan specifies a number of permitted site activations, enforced via license key. You must not exceed your activation limit or share keys to circumvent it.

3. Payment, renewals & taxes

  • Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, who handles billing and applicable sales tax/VAT/GST.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current rate unless cancelled before renewal, except where a “founder” or locked-in rate applies.
  • “Founder”/early-bird pricing, where offered, is honored per the terms stated at purchase.

4. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first purchases. Request a refund within 14 days at ben@getreviso.io. Renewal payments are not refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details.

5. Updates & support

Updates and support are provided for the duration of an active license. Lapsed licenses keep the last installed version (per GPL) but lose access to new updates and support until renewed.

6. Beta features

Features labeled beta, early access, or experimental are provided “as is”, may change or be removed, and should not be relied on for production-critical work.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Use the Plugin lawfully and only on sites you control;
  • Obtain any required consents from your reviewers/clients before collecting their names, emails, comments, or screenshots, and handle your own privacy-law compliance for that data (stored on your site);
  • Maintain backups and the security of your WordPress installation, hosting, and review links;
  • Keep review links confidential — anyone with a valid link may view and add feedback within its scope;
  • If you enable AI features or third-party integrations (Slack, Discord, webhooks), ensure you are permitted to send the relevant content to those providers and comply with their terms; AI features use your own provider API key.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the Plugin to violate law, infringe rights, transmit malware, or abuse our or third parties’ infrastructure (including AI features, if enabled).

9. Third-party platforms

Reviso is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bricks, the Bricks Builder team, or Automattic/WordPress. “Bricks” and “WordPress” are trademarks of their respective owners.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and Plugin are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Plugin or Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Plugin or your handling of reviewer/client personal data.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. GPL-licensed code already installed remains yours to use under the GPL.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
